Frequently Asked Questions
General Questions
No, the pages don't permanently stick together. They are briefly sticking together after being handsprayed, but I make sure to flip through the pages, which is a very normal part of the process and does not damage the pages.
In very rare cases, a little paint may bleed onto the first or last pages. I'd say 1 out of 100 books experinces bleeding, most of the time caused by the paper quality.
Pages do not stick together at all when they're being printed
Yes and No
I can work on both formats, so neither have qualities that prevent me from working on the edges (unless the book has deckled edges of course)
However, some designs can be a bit stubborn, and the flatter the surface (eg no hardcover cardboard in the way), the better. But by no means does the hardcover cover prevent me from adding edges to a hardcover book. The biggest difference on the way the cardboard can change the edges is probably a split stencil design over a series. The cover creates seperation between the books and can cut up the design a bit, while paperbacks can be sprayed without any interruption, that can make the design pretty seamless
So the only way the format matters is in the sense of making my job a bit easier, and designs more seamless when spread over several books
Yes, all the books in the Shop are in English. I am based in Germany, but do not sell German books, only English.

Shipping
Shipping depends on which country a parcel is being sent to, the weight of the package, and how much insurance you'd like for it
The easiest way to check the shipping cost is to add something to your cart and go to checkout as the shipping price can vary even from book to book. You will not get charged at this step, but you can see how much shipping would be
I always have a short sentence at the very top of my website, that tells you the current processing time for orders. It can happen that it might take a little longer for me to get to your books from time to time, as I am a one person business, and do everything myself and by myself. I always try my hardest to get to your order as soon as humanly possible :)
How long the actual shipping takes after I send out your order, is always hard to say, this seems to change every few weeks, but here are some rough estimated shipping times:
Germany: 3 to 5 business days
EU: 1 to 2 weeks
UK: 2 weeks
USA: at least 3 weeks
Canada: 4 weeks
Australia: at least 4 weeks
Rest of the World: anywhere between 3 and 6 weeks
I ship worldwide, to every country! :)
Shop Update
Absolutely! You can suggest a book here
If you don't want to wait until the next shop update, or also don't want to leave it up to hance if I select your suggested books (I simply can't afford to offer all the suggested books at once), I recommend putting in the request for a custom order :) You can do that here
Newsletter Subscribers get Early Access to the Shop Update (24hours before the official Update starts)
So the only thing you have to do is sign up to the Newsletter.
You can subscribe to the Newsletter in 3 ways:
- Wait for the Pop-Up that offers you 5% off an order for subscribing
- If you already closed that Pop-Up when first coming to the Wesbite, there should be a tab on the left side of your screen that says "Get 5% off". Clicking on it opens the Pop-Up
- Scroll to the very bottom of the Website when you are on the main page, there is a bar where you can enter your email

As stated at checkout (the little checkbox you check before being able to pay), I am unable to do refunds. All my books (unless they're in the ready to ship category) are made to order. That means you place your order, and I purchase the book(s) for your order immediately when I see a new order has come in. This way I am able to offer more books instead of being limited by having to keep books in stock all the time. However it means I can't cancel and refund orders, as I have already purchased and paid for the books by the time you reach out. And as a one person small business I am unable to take the hit it takes, refunding and hoping to sell the book to someone else soon.
